Description

Top notch quality new build. CNC cut aluminum chassis with four 10-32 pressed machine nuts for cabinet mounts. Vishay 2 watt low noise carbon film resistors throughout, ceramic tube sockets, standard IEC 3 prong power cord inlet with built in fuse holder. Based on a ‘68 Champ circuit with volume, bass, and treble control. Your choice of Fender style skirted knobs or generic type small or large lined knobs. Output is currently set at 8 ohms but can easily be changed to 4 ohms or 16 ohms. Output transformer rated for 8 watts. This amp puts out 4.5 WRMS sine wave at 1KHz. Hammond power transformer.

If you’re after the Champ sound and you’re into building a bit of cabinetry, this is a natural choice for you. Beats the hell out of $800+ genuine Fender used pricing. I have one of these mounted in a Fender Champion 110 combo cab with 10” Jensen ceramic driver and it sounds terrific. Very nice distortion when cranked, nice and clean at lower levels. This amp loves pedals!

$200 without tubes - $260 with tubes. Pick up in central St Catharines. Cash or EMT only. Will ship at your expense.
