A superb Austrian Art Nouveau/Jugendstil ceiling light, c.1905. It has wonderful Secessionist lines and is very well constructed in heavy gauge nickel plated brass. It has a beautiful opalescent shade with optic moulding very much in the manner of Loetz or Bakalowits.
The fixture has 27” drop and measures 11” across at its widest. In excellent condition with no damage or repairs and with all the original fittings including the ceiling plate.The original wiring has been removed for safety’s sake.
