Admiral tube radio record player - working antique !

Admiral model 6J22X including RC600 record player. Made in Port Credit approx 1951. The radio does AM only The record player handles 33, 45, or 78rpm records. The changer mechanism is missing the piece that indexes the tone arm to the start of the record. It is possible to replace this part but it will be difficult to find. Most people don't want to use a changer mechanism on their precious records anyway. Most people tend to want to use them in manual mode anyway. Check out the video to hear the sound - it is excellent. This one has a very large bakelite cabinet that is in pretty good shape as you can see. Restoration included new capacitors, lubrication of the record player mechanism, new phono cartridge. Dimensions: 17in X 17in X 9in tall.
