Description

Empty Hudson Bay Royal Charter whiskey bottles, rare relics of Canadian spirits history from the Hudson Bay Distillery in Winnipeg, which began bottling in 1915 under the Hudson’s Bay Company and was sold to Seagram’s in 1987, ending HBC’s distilling legacy.

Two stoneware bottles:

One regular stoneware bottle, bottled in 1975, featuring a cork top, in classic Hudson Bay Royal Charter style. One commemorative stoneware bottle celebrating the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ 1989 Grey Cup victory, where they defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 43-40 on November 26, 1989, with no cap included.

One 1955 glass bottle, with a faded but readable label, showcasing an earlier era of this iconic whiskey. One final edition bottle with a golden etched label, released just before Hudson Bay ceased production of this treasured whiskey, marking the end of an era.
