• her beautiful attire appears to be original
gown is made of peach colored satin taffeta with vintage soft lace and plenty of ruffles. There are several layers
- nailed on in places and a few straight pins to hold the ribbon
- silk / satin - stiffy gauze like fabric – ribbon and lace
- normal lace tattering (mainly in the front) –perhaps, due to her hands catching in the lace and from usage as these dolls were carried everywhere!
- a few age related / normal dress holes
- stiffy gauze to mimic stockings
- flapper hat with flipped back front
- form molded black pumps to partial solid legs to approx. the knees – some shoe scuffs
• age: 1930s
• hand painted face (most likely a thick rigid compo of sorts)
- blue eyes with bottom painted lashes
- upper false eyelashes
- beauty mark - typical mark for Sterling Dolls
• blonde soft wavy curls – some hairpins
- mohair looks to be glued onto a fabric / gauze
• when one arm lifts; the other arm raises as well at the same time
- solid arms (most likely hard plastic) to approx. the shoulders – then a cloth stuffed body (stuffing feels soft -possibly, lint)
- long cloth limbs (feels / sounds crunchy – possibly, straw)
- fingernails are painted Roaring 20’s red
• she is very lovely – free of cracks / chips - minimal crazing - fantastic condition
