Winter/Spring 2025 Update from Little Joe's Companion Birds!

Available and Upcoming babies currently include budgies, cockatiels, lovebirds, YellowSided Conures, Pineapple Conures, and Suncheek conures.

Yes, there is now a YouTube channel for Little Joe's! There will be at least two to three new videos put up every week, showcasing the birds and babies and rescue rehomings, along with new instructional and bird care videos. There will be videos of babies in the brooders, babies during handfeeding and babies during evening play time and contact training. Instructional videos will include everything from cage selection and setup, to handfeeding and raising babies, to general bird care, diet and training.

This might be your last chance for a Little Joe's handfed baby, as I will be moving my aviary to Vancouver Island, in the Cowichan Valley area, in April/May! You can message me on my Facebook page to be added to the wait lists of any babies you are interested in. Just do a google search for "Little Joe's Companion Birds".

I am currently still located in Abbotsford BC. a 45 min drive East of Vancouver.

Quite a few adult rescue and rehoming pairs and singles are available, including budgies, lovebirds, parrotlets, conures and senegals. Nominal rehoming fee, pictures can be found and applications done on my Facebook page, and video on Youtube. Sorry, Kijiji does not have a way to store, sort, label or flag messages so most of my communications are done on Facebook.

On my page you will also find many posts concerning bird health and tips on housing and feeding our feathered friends. You will find my CHOP recipe there, as well as my bird care guide and many photo albums of current and past available birds. Tips on housing, feeding, wing clipping, emergency care and toxic dangers along with many other posts can be found.

All my birds are kept in the best of conditions. Daily CHOP, individual full spectrum cage lighting, UVA/UVB lighting, fresh air ventilation, air scrubbers, monitored air quality, temperature and humidity controls and monitoring and backup power generation. Babies are handfed from 10 days of age until 8 weeks old, and receive hours of daily socialization, shoulder, flight and poop training.
