2008 Jeep Compass North Edition, Automatic FWD, 219k.

Regular oil changes and records of all work done on vehicle since I purchased it.

Was my first vehicle I owned since moving to Alberta. Purchased in 2021. I've taken it from here to Vancouver to Jasper and everything in between. Selling because we are not using it much anymore unfortunately.

Good: - Drives well. Handles well. - A/C - Radio with Aux - Currently has winter tires on that have probably 2-3 more years of life - Block Heater for winter - No windshield cracks! - No hail damage - Idles fine and gear change is smooth - No engine light - Starts well - Lots of storage in rear of vehicle, especially with the lay-flat back seats - Spare tire in trunk well

Bad: - Engine makes some noises when running. Not sure what they are as I haven't had it inspected recently and no engine light. Might be a timing belt thing but I am not a car expert. does not seem to affect driving. - Brakes are a bit rusted - could probably use new brake pads and rotors sooner rather than later - Horn does not work - Rear suspension could be quiter and gentler when driving off-road (like Smith Dorrien)

Ugly: - Not very soundproof while driving (loud at high speeds due to wind or when driving on dirt roads like Smith Dorrien into K-country) - Superficial crack in rear bumper on left side (pictured above) - Some rust on the exterior (e.g. rear passenger side above wheel, pictured, and front hood, pictured, and a couple others) - paint is peeling a bit on front of vehicle
