2014 Elantra GT - Parts or Repair

2014 Elantra GT For parts or repair (car drives, mvi’d to Nov 2026) $1200 firm. Original owner, clean title, no accidents, 223000km, overall good condition, solid car other than the engine. Engine runs but will require rebuild or replacement as told by Hyundai dealer due to cylinder wall scoring. Knock sensor has picked up vibration in the engine and has initiated “limp mode” with code P1326, code was reset and now out of ”limp mode” and drives normally, but I suspect it would go back to “limp mode” during highway travel, seems ok on secondary roads when driving back from dealer and a couple local test drives. In 2024 replaced the following parts, which would have accumulated approx 17000km (have all records); Front - wheel bearings, brake backing plates, lower control arms, struts. (Parts cost approx $1100) Exhaust flex pipe, catalytic converter. (Parts cost approx $500) Comes with the Goodyear winter tires on the factory Hyundai steel rims as seen in the photos. There are no fault codes with anything except the engine mentioned previously. Everything works, AC is cold, solid body, was undercoated when new, brake lines replaced by Hyundai due to recall in 2024. The battery needed to be charged after being at the dealer for a couple of weeks, this is the original 11 year old battery so don't think it would have much life left. And the front brakes sound noisy after getting back from the dealer, rotors and pads were new in summer of 2023, not sure if it is just surface rust from sitting.
