1990 Volvo 740 GLE Wagon

Deciding to sell my classic Volvo 740 Wagon. She's a survivor and has done relatively well considering the age of the vehicle. I've owned the car since 2021, and have done essentially all necessary maintenance since owning the vehicle.

Pros: the vehicle has always started, regardless of temperature and the -40°C Winters are when this Swedish beast thrives. It's a RWD and I bought brand new winter tires last March and honestly is like a dream for careful drivers. The body is in nearly mint condition apart from the gas cover door being missing. Spacious interior. Heavy frame (safe!!). I have an entire engine of spare parts.

Cons: the vehicle is 35 years old. The summer tires were stolen and are no longer in my possession. The car can occasionally idle a little rough, but generally has never been an issue in my 4 years of daily driving. Car is loud following the catalytic converter stolen and the subsequent patching of the exhaust system.

Service done since owning:

Engine tuning, engine heads replaced to pass inspection. All brakes were changed in June 2023 Catalytic Converter stolen, straight piped in August 2023 Alternator changed November 2023 (still have the old one of you want it recharged at a shop for the future) Mass Airflow Sensor (December 2024)
