To be 100% honest i don't really know diesels all that well and i think the engine is bad, we were towing down hill with our travel trailer coming into Revelstoke when the engine starting to make a knocking noise at the top of the engine. there was a fair bit of black smoke coming from the tailpipe. We shut it off and had it towed back to the house. one shop told us it could need injectors as the millage is high for the OE injectors but they wanted 7k to replace them. But I'm not 100% sure.

The truck is fully deleted and has been from 2017. I do have all the emissions system still if you need to put it back on. the truck is from Alberta, The truck has been serviced at St albert Dodge and Kamloops RAM. We use Amsoil for all fluids and OE filters, oil change has been done Every 15k with Amsoil 5w40, Transmission has been serviced every 60k with Amsoil ATF and a Mopar filter kit. Fuel Filters (both) done at dealer using the Mopar parts every 25k
