Description

This rare high performance car was imported from California. Aluminum body. Onboard GM generator for extended range on long trips without the need to plug in. It's in good shape with a few minor problems (see list below). It should get a certification without any work. It's holding up quite well. Many options, included the tri-tone canyon upgraded leather interior and Diamond Dust exterior Shadow paint colour. It's got the ECO SPORT group of options. This was the most expensive model, with the "Diamond Dust" paint, paint protection and interior leather options. The AC still blasts with cold air. It's a sweet comfortable cruiser with no shortage of power. It's got high mileage and that's what you should look for in this car. The batteries like to be cycled and that is why it's still working! It comes with the 22" stock rims and summer tires, as well as the Winter 21" rims/tires. All with lots of tread. Please do your homework and research this car. It's not for everyone, and that is why you rarely see them. FiskerBuzz is a good forum environment to learn lots. I'm located between Ottawa and Montreal. Scammers beware. No tire kickers please. I've owned this car for a record 13 years and I'm getting another car...too many toys, too little time.

A few have asked me what the problems are. The car is completely safe, driveable and the issues are minor and repairable, if they annoy you. I'm all about full disclosure. Hopefully you've already made yourself aware of the issues these rare cars have. The big advantage to this car is that it's been continuously driven since it's purchase. Issues: -The suspension makes squeeky noises. It performs well, but you can hear it. I have a set of bushing covers for a couple that have cracked...but there doesn't seem to be any wear. -The covers for the rear seat USB and cigarette plug have broken off. You can replace them but it's not necessary for their function. -The visor mirror covers don't stay closed. It's only an issue when you swing the visors forward and the covers hand down. You can either replace the spring clip or I have matching brown velcro for a fix. Again, nothing serious. -The central infotainment computer was just replaced and reprogrammed/updated. This is an issue all cars have. This fixed many setting memory issues and the stereo sounds great again. The Navigation no longer recognizes the car's location and can't determine the route anymore. The clock doesn't seem to hold the correct time. So, if you don't use your phone for navigation, it's likely a loose connection to the GPS antenna. I just haven't had a chance to look at it. Again, full disclosure. Many of the parts are from GM or Ford. -I do own dogs, so if you have serious animal allergies, you may want to remove the seats for a full interior detail. I keep the car clean, but it's almost impossible to get all the traces of dog out without a full detail. -There are occasional codes that come up for various things. They can be easily reset and then they don't come back for months. The car has sensors everywhere and it's something that just happens...but has an easy fix. -The lower rear bumper had a small dime-sized hole in it, that has been fixed. If I don't point it out, you won't notice it. -The summer rims have a plasti-dip coating that could use a redo. You could also just pressure wash it all off. There are some small road rash on the edges. The front left rim has had a hairline crack for the past 8 years, but still holds air without any drop in pressure...Common issue with this rim design. You can't see the crack but it is there. Again, full disclosure. -The brake discs look a bit rusted but still work like new. Because the regenerative brakes stop the car most of the time, they get little use and so the rust doesn't get cleaned off like in most cars. I don't drive the car hard so the rust rarely gets cleaned off. -The winter rims have all season tires, not winters. -It's almost due for an oil change, but I might get to that this month. I usually do it myself.

This car gets more attention than any other car out there, IMHO. Everyone will ask you what it is and then drop their jaw when you tell them that it's a 2012. Yes, it has a solar panel on the roof. People will drive hovering around the car and cell phone recording, while they dangle out the window. The car still looks amazing and the rare times you need to get gas, it might take you a few extra minutes to talk to someone.

ATTENTION: Don't ask me if the car is still available and don't ask me to contact you via your randomly generated spam email address or outside of Kijiji, Autotrader or on Whatsapp, etc. No, I'm not going to buy some car data report from your scammer site, either. I'm also not going to register for paypal, from the fake URL address you send me. Don't send me your phone number. Too many bad eggs kill the fun for everyone. Scammers have a particular place waiting for them in he**.
