Heavy sturdy mid-century modern (mcm) atomic, machine age, industrial tanker style built in the 1940s or 1950s. { Lourd et robuste style atomique, moderne du milieu du siècle (mcm), âge de la machine, pétrolier industriel construit dans les années 1940 ou 1950.} Putty gray heavy duty steel or aluminum frame.
Adjustments: Seat height; Back rest tension; Back rest height. Tanker style desk type chair. Rubber caster wheels. Chrome trims on wheel legs. Original red vinyl upholstery, with red velvet type cloth seat. Manufactured in Ontario, Canada to commercial standards, with exceptional design and construction.
Great chair for a student room, home office, garage or shop. The red upholstery really pops!

Condition: Very good vintage condition (8.5 / 10). Originally there may have been arms on the chair. Exceptionally sturdy 1950s Canadian construction, structurally sound and fully functional. Minor scratches and paint chips to the metal, mainly on wheel frame. From a non-smoking house. No holes or tears in upholstery. Top seat panel of upholstery appears to be original.
