Description
1934 Ford Model A 5-window coupe Hot Rod. This is one fantastic build with an incredible story. See the attached picture of the story written by the builder, who admired this car as a kid in the 50's and eventually, decades later, made his hot rod dreams come true. This is an all-original Henry Ford Steel body from tip to tale including the grill! It's not a reproduction or kit car. Sitting on a custom chassis painted to match the body including a Heidts super ride front end, with a 9" Ford solid axle with 3.50 gears and leaf springs out back. The build quality is absolutely excellent. It's powered by a mostly stock SBC 350 V8 with headers and backed by a 700R4 auto. Wilwood disc brakes all around bring everything to a stop. The exterior features perfect paint, new tires on steelies with beauty rings and baby moons, and excellent chrome and bright work. The suicide front doors work perfectly and feature modern latches to prevent accidental opening. All new glass throughout, with power side windows, and a manual crank down rear window. The single wiper uses a very expensive cable driven motor to hidden in the rear fender to eliminate a large wiper motor box hanging above the windshield. The rumble seat is functional and features a power actuated opener/closer. Even the headlights are period correct, not reproductions. The inside is spectacular. The Dodge Caravan sourced seats are extremely comfortable and are tastefully covered in two tone brown and red leather that matches the custom door panels and the rest of the upholstery including the rumble seat. The headliner and upper side panels are finished in wool. The dashboard is beautiful and features all new gauges that fit the period of the car. A stereo featuring a hidden DVD screen is in front of the passenger seat. A leather wrapped banjo wheel finishes things off. The details on this build go on forever. Thankfully, there are dozens and dozens of build photos both in an album and on CD-ROM that outline the build from start to finish and come with the car. Along with that are 3 folders full of receipts and set up manuals from every part and piece installed onto the car. A car custom car cover is included, and other tires and wheels can also come along.
This build on this car began sometime around 2010, and was only finished and got onto the road in 2023. It’s only put on 800 miles since completion. That same year, it took 1st place in it's category at the Draggins Rod and Custom Car show.
This one is truly spectacular! Don't miss out.
