1965 Chevrolet Biscayne 2-door Post sedan. What an amazing survivor! This is an original California car and comes with the proof, including a US California title and it's very first and only set of 1965 black and yellow California license plates with a stack of validation stickers on it at least a 1/4" thick, right from day 1 until 2010. The car has had some restoration work, with a re-spray in the original gold color quite some time ago, and clearly the interior has been restored with factory correct two tone vinyl. Overall condition is outstanding with zero rust, a perfectly dry original trunk and a clean underside. Under the hood you'll find a 250 inline-6 backed by a 3-on-the-tree manual transmission. The engine starts instantly, and the choke is set up properly and the clutch feel and engagement is perfect. It's a pretty basic model with the only features being wipers, an AM radio, and a heater, all of which works perfectly. Wheels and tires were originally color matching steelies with dog-dish hubcaps, but they've been upgraded with new modern wheels and tires. The original owner’s manual comes with the car along with some paperwork from previous appraisals. Simple, basic transportation from a by-gone era! If you're looking for easy to work on, and rock solid, this is the car for you! This is the perfect ride to take a trip down memory lane in! 40,700 miles on the clock, but like any car with only a 5-digit odometer, true milage is unknown.
