We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the automotive industry. As an Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
Duties
Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and disassemble vehicle components.
Help diagnose vehicle issues by interpreting schematics and following troubleshooting procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Participate in training sessions to enhance automotive knowledge and technical skills.
Support senior mechanics with heavy lifting tasks as needed during repairs and maintenance.
Experience
Previous experience or coursework in automotive repair is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with dealership environments is a plus.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, including the ability to read schematics.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks.
