Experienced Swamper needed

Prairie Hauler Inc is looking for an experienced swamper to join our team immediately. The targeted applicant should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the moving and/or delivery field. Preference will be given to individuals with major appliance delivery experience. Must be willing to commute to different areas in the Edmonton region for work. Pick up and drop off is available periodically depending on proximity to dispatch and job site location. Must be 100% English language proficient. Must have technical skills and knowledge of moving equipment such as moving straps, harness’s, 2 wheel and 4 wheel dolleys, ratchet straps, hand and power tools, site survey’s and spotting. Must be familiar with securing loads for transport and cube utilization. We are seeking someone with excellent customer service and who maintains a professional appearance. Salary of $18-$20 per hour based on experience. A 90 day review with the potential for a wage increase if performance standards are met. 5 ton driving experience with a clean drivers abstract is a great asset but not required. Hours vary from 20-40 per week depending on workload and seasonality. Must be willing to provide a clean criminal background check. Reliability and scheduling flexibility is a crucial requirement.
