Job Posting: Tanker Truck Driver
Location: Oakville, ON
Wage: $25 - $28.50/hour
Number of Openings: 2
Responsibilities:
Haul biosolids and other materials safely and efficiently.
Adhere strictly to traffic laws and regulations while on duty.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Complete and maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients, providing updates on delivery schedules and addressing any issues.
Assist in the training and mentorship of junior drivers as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and promptly report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
3+ years of heavy haul experience
3+ years of AZ/ Driving experience
6 months - 1 year of Tanker experience
Ability to drive 18-speed manual & automatic transmission
Ability to get in and out of the truck when necessary
