Almost Giving Away This Oak Table With Large Bear Claw Feet.

This is a rare antique oak table with large bear claw feet. Not sure of the exact year of this table but it is over 100 years of age. I worked hard on this table to bring it back to its original look. And did the best I could without the use of chemicals, just a lot of hard work , since it had several coats of paint on it. It has large bear claw feet to rest your feet on up off the cold floor in the winter. Unfortunately a small piece from one of the bear claw feet threw moving. This is not very noticeable due to the colour. There is also openings on the bottom of the feet incase you wish to add wheels onto it. This table also opens up by a large and a small metal wheel to a hideaway compartment where the ladies would hide there old love letters in the war times. Later this lovely hand carved contour was made and added to conceal the compartment from view afar. This table measures 44 inches from side to side.
