Description: Spectacular mcm rosewood {bois de rose} side / end / coffee table with square top. Legs removeable by hand turning wing nuts. Solid rosewood legs. Rosewood veneer {vernis} over solid wood (teak?). Handsome, impressive, mid century modern vintage Scandinavian inspired / designed rosewood side table / end table. Sturdy construction, likely built circa 1960s, in Scandinavia (Norway or Denmark). This clean line mid-century modern, minimalist rosewood veneered table has beautiful rich rosewood colour and grain.
The manufacturer label has come off. Perhaps it was designed and built by Haug Snekkeri A/S Tomter Bruksbo Model, which is made in Norway?
Perfect for the modern home. This large-scale side table could be used as a night stand or plant stand, end / side / coffee table.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition (9.8 / 10). Structurally sound, with joinery in great shape. Original finish, with minor wear and light use indicators, overall nice surface condition, construction is strong and sturdy. No water damage. From a smoke free home.
