    Description

    Philips Stereo Console / Model 279 / Late 50s early 60s tube powered outfitted with a AG 9008 / 52 mono Block (transformer - less console amp ) it requires 800 ohm speakers which are shown, three-way speaker system with 12 inch woofer. Record changer is working but will need attention , works but sometimes wont shut off, ceramic cartridge intact. Tuner is pulling in AM nicely but very weak on FM (possibly just a weak or dead tube, out of my expertise) . Heavy unit. Cabinet is in exceptional condition. Dimensions 42in wide x 16D x 32H.
