Has been around dogs, livestock, tractors, and other heavy equipment. He is friendly and calm, and will meet you at the gate.
Vet checked last summer, teeth floated, sheath cleaned. Healthy and sound. Does not require extra feed or any maintenance. Has mostly been used as a trail horse and for hunting and packing in the mountains.
He would do best with someone who is a confident rider. He has trouble dealing with the inconsistencies of inexperienced riders. He can test new riders or anyone lacking confidence and has bucked. With an experienced rider he does very well with no issues. He is currently with a trainer getting a spring tune up after having the winter off, and is doing fantastic.
