Kunekune piglets (registered, pets or meat)
Description
Jireh Hills Family Homestead has been raising kunekunes for the past 5 years. They are the PERFECT homestead pig, in our humble opinion.
Kunekune’s are a unique, friendly pasture-raised pig that can be raised for meat, as a backyard pet (they will definitely take care of all your food scraps) or we have registered stock if you want to start raising your own little herd - which we highly recommend.
“Daisy Duke” (36722 - kereopa) is a first-time mama who has been busy raising her 10 piglets for the past month (DOB - April 13, 2025). They grow quickly and will be fully weaned and ready for their new homes as early as mid-June. All the piglets are well-handled, have been given iron supplements x2 and herbal dewormer. The entire litter is ginger with black polka dots. 5 females and 5 males.
Daisy was bred to our boar, “Pepper Pig” (13707 - Mahia Love).
We are expecting a second “unrelated” litter this summer (if you need a potential breeding pair).
Males are castrated and prices vary depending on gender and registration.
Castrated males - 3 available $300 each Gilts - 5 available $500 - $650 (registered)
