We have a commercial incubator that gives us a 95% success rate that we use for hatching our own chickens at our farm. With the local peavy mart closing, this year we will be offering chicks to the community.
We will be ready to fill up our incubator for the weekend of February 14th, for early March hatching
We raise chickens for egg production and have a flock selected for high productivity, large - extra large multi colored eggs (see pictures). Our chickens are a barn yard mix and this generation should see more color variations in green and blue colored eggs. The chickens will have unique father colors and patterns also (see the picture of the mature chickens from our last years hatching). Please note the photo of the chicks is from some of our starter chicks when we began our operation and has less color pattern then you will get with these chicks. Chicks will be free run.
All eggs are from our happy, healthy free range flock.
Chicks will need to be pre order at 8/chick, ordering over 50 chicks will be 7/chick. Deposit is required to book your space in the incubator, remainder paid on pick up of chicks at day old or week old pick up will be available for additional fee.
