Hi, I’m Mitchell! I’m a professional musician & experienced piano teacher. I’ve performed & recorded with Juno award winning artists, & received my degree from the Berklee College of Music.
-I work with students of all skill levels & ages, teaching via at-home visits.
-I’m in the West End but can travel within reason.
-My specialty is contemporary & jazz, I also teach classical for beginning-intermediate students.
-I structure lessons around individual students’ interests & goals: the music you love- you’ll learn!
-I’ve taught chord theory using Chappell Roan, improvising using Satie, ear-training using Radiohead, etc. I can also teach recording/producing and songwriting/composing. If your goal is simply to learn how to play your favorite songs, that’s great too!
-I'm also happy teaching kids/beginners the fundamentals.
-I do not teach the RCM curriculum, but can cover the same concepts if desired.
