Incubator Rentals - St. Albert

It's that time of year again. Where you start to plan your spring activities! And what better way to welcome in the spring than with the Hatch a Cheep Peep Incubator Rental Program!

We are pleased to be able to offer our community the opportunity to experience the joys and excitement of incubating and hatching your very own Chicks and Ducklings in your own home!

This program is a fun and interactive activity for the whole family! Are you a homeschool family looking for a fun educational experience, a family who loves animals and wants to share in the magic of the process, a teacher wanting to offer a unique experience to her kids, or even a caregiver who wants to share the excitement with the seniors they care for?

Chicken eggs incubate for 21 days! The package is for a 4-week period (3 weeks to hatch, 1 week to observe chicks). When you are done, you have the option to either keep all the chicks/ducklings you hatch out, sell them, give them away or feel free to return them to the farm to join our happy, healthy flock to provide eggs for our local community!

The Hatch a Cheep-Peep Program provides the following service. We will provide you with all the supplies to incubate the eggs- Incubator, thermometers, hygrometers, egg turner, and a Candler to watch their development!

You can purchase free range eggs from our farm, we offer Back Yard Mix chicks (Also known as BYM), a unique pack of different coloured eggs (White, brown, pink, blue and green!) or Duck eggs.

You can also source your own eggs if you’d like!

We are located 1.5 hours west of Edmonton. Close to Edson and Whitecourt. If you live in the Delivery Radius, we will deliver/pickup your program on Wednesdays or you are free to pick up/ drop off your program at the farm (10 minutes north of Peers on Hwy 32) on any day you wish. We can also arrange drop off and pickup to your chosen location for an additional fee per km.

We will provide you with some instructions and helpful tips on incubating your eggs and some fun educational literature to get you fired up for the process!

Once your eggs hatch, you will need somewhere warm to keep your new chicks/ ducklings until they can be moved outside. If you do not have or want to create a space, we also offer a Brooder setup at an additional cost, that provides you with the enclosure to keep them, food, dishes, bedding, heat source etc. for the 1-week period.
