Sea Doo 2004 Challenger 1800 Jet Boat

Purchased last summer off original owner (lifetime dealer serviced boat) as we wanted to try a jet boat. Absolutely loved it, and bought a larger jetboat over the winter. Had planned to keep both, but are up to 4 boats and do not have enough dock space.

Last year of the Mercury two stoke V6, has oil injection (no mixing gas), viewed as the most reliable iteration of this platform. Has upgrades to jet pump from previous model years. Runs at full power on 87 octane fuel. This was an upgrade from the twin Rotax variant which was known to have issues.

Extremely fast, due to light weight (1865 pounds dry) and 240hp engine acceleration is incredible (much faster than my SX195).

Very shallow draft (12 inches)

Can carry up to 7 passengers (1245 pounds), easily pulled two people on a tube with 4 adults in the boat.

Both trailer and boat are on valid registration for easy transaction

All major services were addressed in the off season.

- Alternator tensioner serviced and new belt installed - Steering cable serviced (a rubber connector fails, and as a result many of these are unstable over 25mph) - New battery - LED lights installed on the trailer - Radio head unit replaced - Speedometer replaced with a GPS based unit - New safety lanyard

Issues: - Gas gauge does not work (common issue, can easily see gas level when turning main power on) - Need to replace front bow light

Was professionally winterized, has been in the water once this season. Machine is ready to use immediately.
