We have owned our sailboat since 2010 and it's been a great sailboat. Presently on a cradle, we don't plan to launch this summer and if she doesn't sell will be moved East in the fall. Encore has everything needed to be a great sail this summer.

This beautiful vintage Chris-Craft Capitan 26, built in 1967 was designed by Sparkman & Stephens, there were only 50 built in 1967 and we have really enjoyed having this wonderful sailboat. Olin Stephen's love of sleek lines and passion for racing shows in this amazing Capitan Sailboat. There is regular maintenance that needs done with the teak and we have bought everything for the person who buys the sailboat to do what is needed for anti fouling, deck update and a new depth finder still in the box that comes with the sailboat.

Length 26/3, Beam 8/2, Draft 4/0, Displacement 4300lb and Fin keel ballast 1900lbs, made of cast iron and bolted to hull. Encore was originally designed by the first owner in the United States for racing, the second family from Kingston brought Encore to Lake Ontario. Encore sleeps 4 comfortably as a day sailer and has an 8' cockpit. Powered by a well-maintained electric start 7.5 hp two-stroke Mercury outboard which was completely overhauled by Ward's Marine. Main Sail – 3.5oz Dacron is original and has been repaired, but is still in satisfactory condition. An original medium-sized genoa is complemented by a new oversize Hood Genoa, as well as a colourful drifter to provide three foresail options. Two anchors are included: Bruce and Danforth with more than adequate rode. All lines are new, ring bouy, and bumpers are included. Deck kiwi paint kit in light grey comes with it and needed yearly Hull anti fouling paint is included. All new winter covers built for motor cover, entrance door(two pieces) and the hatch over the birth. Summer covers which comes with Encore are shown in the photos. The winter ones are plane in design. New Battery and housing unit. Portable toilet - never used All original equipment in excellent condition comes with Encore.
