sales position - industrial lighting

**Position Overview** We are a well-established industrial lighting company with over 25 years in the industry and four locations across GTA & Guelph. We are seeking a driven Industrial Lighting Sales Representative to join our team any where in the GTA, outside the GTA & Across all provinces in Canada. This is an incredible opportunity to work with an industry leader, offering unlimited earning potential in a dynamic and growing market. The role starts with a base salary of $1,200/month during the innitial onboarding phase, transitioning into a pure commission-based structure where successful representatives can realistically earn $10,000 to $15,000 or more per month. ### **Key Responsibilities** - Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, electricians, architects, distributors and project managers by knocking on doors of businesses. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial, commercial, retail & places of worship lighting sector.

- Provide tailored lighting solutions that meet client needs and project requirements.

- Prepare detailed quotes and proposals while managing follow-ups with prospects.

- Stay updated on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings.

- Attend trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to promote our products.

- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by closing deals effectively.

### **Qualifications**

- Proven sales experience, ideally in the lighting or electrical industry. - Knowledge of industrial lighting products is an asset but not mandatory. - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a commission-driven environment. - Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. - Valid G driver’s license with Car & willingness to travel locally

### **Compensation** - **Initial Salary**: $1,200/month during the onboarding phase (duration to be discussed).

- **Commission Structure**: Transition to a 100% commission-based role after onboarding.
