Up for sale is a vintage classic and super rare to find pair of Jensen Model E-1081 51/4 inch car speakers still like new in the original box. Part of an estate sale, these speakers were used by the original owner for a few months then put back in the box and stored away for over 40years. With the car stereo boom in the 1970s and 1980s Jensen dominated the car audio market until other brands like Alpine started getting traction in the mid 1980s. Quality manufactured in the USA, these rare iconic speakers have a 10oz magnet; 4ohm impedance and a conservative 45 watts power handling. These speakers have been tested and play very loud. Jensen Speakers have always claimed to produce the highest efficiency speaker requiring modest power to sound great! We do have other vintage Jensen Pieces available including car speakers, and car stereos all in great working condition.
