Description
Amazing vintage van rebuilt as a vanlife/camper van in 2023. The van is in excellent condition: it was in BC until last year and has never been active in an Ontario winter, so there’s almost no rust on the undercarriage. Incredibly reliable vehicle that I've driven all over Canada. High clearance is great for adventures on backroads. Turnkey ready!
The floors and cabinets are built from reclaimed cedar, and great for keeping the damp out and resisting mold. All cabinetry is custom built with artistic touches. Insulated with Pink Panther foam and Great Stuff expanding foam to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer!
The bed is slightly smaller than a double bed and comfortably sleeps 2 people. It also unfolds into a spacious sitting area with an unfolding desk for working remotely. The counter comfortably seats 2-3 people around it and the whole space is large and comfortable to be in.
Custom-made blackout curtains throughout. Side windows and back windows have custom-made magnetic mosquito nets.
Large corner sink has a full-sized tap with adjustable head that can be pulled out, with large greywater and clean water tanks and foot pump.
Fully functional solar system running a 12V Renogy battery on a 100W solar panel. Also comes with trickle charger for off-season battery storage.
BJ Landers fridge runs off the solar battery and can also run off the car battery. https://www.instagram.com/bj_landers_adventure_co/p/C1uyoezySxw/?img_index=1
Comes with roof rack, bike rack, and large awning with mosquito netting that creates a whole extra room outside.
The van is a 1991 Ford Clubwagon E250 XLT that has 195,000 km on it. Engine was replaced by the previous owner and runs very well. 2W drive. Calipers and brakes were fully replaced in 2023. Fully safetied and ready to drive away.
Currently in winter tires.
Looking to sell because of changes in my professional life that meant vanlife is no longer a good option for me, but she's an amazing rig and super reliable. I built this van myself and sad to see her go. I'm taking my time and looking for the right buyer; serious inquiries only.
